Taking risks can be exhilarating and a natural
state of being. This class provides techniques
and practical tools to assist your clients in
recovery to break through addictive negative thinking
and behavior patterns that keep them from taking
risks and living their lives more authentically.
We will explore both conceptually and experientially
what taking risks is all about and how to begin
taking them. Topics also include the impact of
positive and negative beliefs, conscious and unconscious
intentions and the fear of making mistakes when
taking risks. Trying to be perfect by not making
mistakes can have a profound influence on the
body, mind and spirit and can prohibit our ability
to take risks. You will have an opportunity to
explore taking a personal risk in a new way that
can begin to free you to live your life more fully.
